The study encompassed a population of 20 Ramkhamhaeng Sepak Takraw athletes. Research instruments consisted of (1) The Competition State Anxiety Inventory – 2 (CSAI-2) and (2) Structured interviews exploring situational anxiety experienced by the Ramkhamhaeng Sepak Takraw athletes. These tools underwent evaluation by three experts to determine item-objective congruence, achieving scores ranging between 0.6 and 1.0.

Results indicated that both the mental (μ = 15.3, σ = 4.791) and physical (μ = 13.6, σ = 3.283) dimensions of anxiety levels among Ramkhamhaeng Sepak Takraw athletes were low. Additionally, the study revealed that self-confidence also stood at a low level (μ = 14.6, σ = 7.161). The qualitative analysis of anxiety interviews unveiled the following findings: (1) Athletes exhibited low anxiety levels attributed to their lack of outcome expectations and extensive experience; ( 2) Key sources of anxiety included training schedules, Sepak Takraw skills, and the competitive environment; ( 3) Athletes employed coping strategies such as positive self-talk and mental imagery to enhance self-confidence, focusing on present experiences rather than dwelling on past errors.
Kritchaya Poompin Wanatphong Benjaphong Copyright (c) 2025 Faculty of Education, Ramkhamhaeng University https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-11-07 2025-11-07 6 2 1 12 The Relationship between Learning Engagement and Academic Achievement in Blended Learning among Students in the Faculty of Education at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University https://so18.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/RUEDU/article/view/1708
This research aimed to investigate the relationship between learning engagement and academic achievement in the blended learning instruction among students enrolled in the Faculty of Education at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The research findings revealed that (1) the board games designed to promote analytical thinking skills exhibited the highest level of media quality (M = 4.69, SD = 0.43) and content quality (M = 4.81, SD = 0.31). (2) Students' analytical thinking scores after engaging with the board games were significantly higher than their scores before the intervention, with statistical significance at the .05 level. (3) Students who participated in the sessions using the board games designed to enhance analytical thinking skills reported the highest level of satisfaction (M = 4.64, SD = 0.58).
Ekwatchara Pornchinda Sayamon Insaard Supot Ingard Copyright (c) 2025 Faculty of Education, Ramkhamhaeng University https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-11-07 2025-11-07 6 2 23 34 Q-Methodology: A Systematic Review of Research Studies in the TCI Database https://so18.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/RUEDU/article/view/1709
As Q methodology has increasingly received attention among scholars on a global scale, it may not receive as much attention from Thai scholars (or from research studies published in the TCI). Despite its burgeoning popularity, scholars and researchers may not conduct Q methodology properly and/or may not report the use of Q methodology thoroughly. The objective of this study was to undertake a systematic review of empirical studies employing Q methodology within the TCI, intending to benchmark the research practices against those delineated in international scholarship. Within the confines of the TCI, we found nine articles that employ both Q sort and Q factor analysis, the two essential components of Q methodology. Comparatively, the proportion of methodologically sound studies (qualified by using both Q sort and Q factor analysis) was found to be lower in the TCI in contrast to its international counterparts. However, despite such a difference, the studies meeting the aforementioned criteria within the TCI exhibited research practices and reporting standards akin to those observed in international databases, thereby illuminating a positive trend in the utilization of Q methodology among Thai scholars. Notwithstanding these encouraging observations, there remain gaps for scholars to refine the application of Q methodology for the collective advancement of research communities.
Sakkaphat T.
