THAI SANGHA ADMINISTRATION ACCORDING TO BUDDHADHAMMA

Abstract

The objective of this academic article was to study Thai Sangha Administration according to Buddhadhamma. The study conducted by studying the administration of Thai Sangha was in accordance with the Sangha Act of B.E. 2505, amended by the Sangha Act (No. 2. of B.E.2535, (No. 3) of B.E. 2560, (No. 4) of B.E. 2561, and in accordance with the rules, regulations, orders, announcements, and resolutions of the Sangha Supreme Council. The purpose of the administration was to protect order and goodness. However, Sangha administration for efficiency, the administrator must understand the form of the administration of the Sangha, the power and duties in administration, and must have knowledge of the science of administration and know how to apply the Buddhadhamma to the administration. Buddhadhamma was the seven principles of the Sappurisadhamma, which were: Dhammaññuta, knowing the cause; Attanñuta, knowing the result; Attanñuta, knowing oneself; Mattanñuta, knowing the limit; Kalanñuta, knowing the time; Parisaññuta, knowing the community; and Pukkalanñuta, knowing people. Applying Buddhism in this way will be able to administer the Thai Sangha effectively.
