Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Plagiarism Policy:

The International Accounting and Management Science Journal enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are subject to similarity checks using CopyLeaks Software prior to entering the peer-review process. If the similarity index exceeds 25%, or if significant portions of content are found to have been copied without proper attribution to the original source, the journal reserves the right to reject the manuscript immediately.
  • AI Usage Policy:

The use of Generative AI in the preparation of manuscripts is permitted only for language improvement and proofreading purposes. The use of AI to generate core content, analyze data, or to list AI as a co-author is prohibited. Authors must explicitly disclose the use of AI in the Acknowledgments or Methods section, specifying the tool name, version, and purpose of use. Authors are solely responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all content in the manuscript.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
