Publication Ethics
The Journal of the CUFST follows the ethical guidelines for journal publication as set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
1. Duties of Authors

Originality: Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

Plagiarism: Proper citation is mandatory. Any form of plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

Research Ethics: Studies involving human or animal subjects must state the ethics approval number within the manuscript.

Authorship: All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research.
2. Duties of Reviewers

Confidentiality: Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.

Objectivity: Reviews must be conducted objectively with no personal bias. Reviewers should alert the editor to any conflicts of interest.

Timeliness: Reviewers should complete the assessment within the designated timeframe.
3. Duties of Editors

Publication Decisions: The editor is responsible for deciding which articles should be published based on intellectual merit and scientific quality.

Fair Play: Editors must manage the double-blind peer-review process with integrity and ensure the confidentiality of both authors and reviewers.

Plagiarism Screening: Editors must employ plagiarism detection tools (e.g., CopyCatch) to ensure the originality of published work.
