GUIDELINES FOR PROMOTING THE PRODUCTION METHOD OF MON BRICKS FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT IN SALA BANG PU COMMUNITY, PAK PHUN SUBDISTRICT, MUEANG DISTRICT, NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aimed to study the production methods of clay bricks, the problems in clay brick production, and the guidelines to promote clay brick production for business development in the Sala Bang Pu community. A qualitative research design was employed. The sample consisted of 12 people from the Sala Bang Pu community, specifically targeted for this study. The data collection instruments included: 1) Structured interviews, 2) Interview guides for key informants and general informants, and 3) Participant observation. The data collection process involved: 1) Preparing for the research, 2) Preparing the participants, and 3) Conducting in-depth interviews. For data analysis, the researcher analyzed factual data descriptively regarding clay brick production methods, production problems, and promotion guidelines. The research findings revealed that: 1) Clay brick production methods begin with the preparation of raw materials, particularly clay, which must meet the production standards. Each tool and piece of equipment used in production serves a specific purpose. In the mixing process, producers check the clay quality to ensure it meets the desired standards before distributing the clay bricks to the market. 2) Problems in clay brick production involve several aspects, including production equipment, raw materials, and production processes. It was found that problems often occur with the equipment and production process. 3) Guidelines to promote clay brick production include improvements in production equipment, raw material selection, production processes, and marketing aspects.
