Abstract

          This research aims to study the potential of the Khoak Muang community in terms of tourism. Khlong Hoi Khong District, Songkhla Province and guidelines for developing community potential in community tourism. It is a mixed method of research, namely qualitative research and participatory research consists of a literature review Organizing a forum to brainstorm opinions in-depth interview and analyzing data on guidelines for developing community potential in community tourism. By a group of informants from the Khoak Muang Subdistrict Tourism Community Enterprise Group Committee consisting of community leaders, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and government agencies that support tourism. and analyze Synthesize content information Compiled and organized according to educational issues.

          The research results found that Studying the community's potential in community tourism has 3 aspects: 1) History have 3 types: 1.1 general conditions, 1.2 history, and 1.3 culture, traditions, and beliefs. 2) Organizational groups in the community have 2 types: 2.1 groups of organizations that have standards to support and 2.2 organizations that prepare to support development and 3) Tourist attractions, namely 3.1 natural tourist attractions 3.2 cultural tourist attractions and 3.3 agricultural tourism attractions Ways of life and local wisdom include ways of life in the community. And the community's outstanding food wisdom and guidelines for developing community potential in community tourism found that. There are 3 development approaches: 1) developing creative tourism potential, 2) developing creative tourism activities and routes, and 3) upgrading products to connect tourism in communities. The potential to support the development of community tourism is a tool for community development and can create income for the well-being of the community.
