Publication Ethics


Duties of Editor

  1. The editor must control and administer the Journal business smoothly in line with the criteria set by the Thai Citation Index Center.
  2. The editor must practice according to the Code of Ethics or use academic reasons to consider the article without any biases or interest in the authors.
  3. The editor must accept the evaluation results from the peer reviewers by not revising or changing content, except if the peer reviewers recommend doing so.
  4. The editor must not have a conflict of interest with the article authors.
  5. The editor must refrain from using their power to dominate the peer reviewers in evaluating the article according to how they want it to be.
  6. The editor should not acknowledge the receipt of the article that the peer reviewers have not evaluated.
  7. The editor must check the duplication of the article seriously by using a reliable plagiarism checker to be sure that the article to be printed in the Journal does not pirate the other’s copyright.
  8. The editor must stop the evaluation process immediately when copyright infringement is found and inform the article's authors immediately. If the article authors do not act according to the editor’s suggestion, the editor has the right to refuse the article's printing immediately.
  9. The editor must strictly select peer reviewers with direct knowledge and expertise of that article.


Duties of peer reviewers

  1. The peer reviewers must consider the quality of the article as the main criterion by academic standards and the objectives of the Journal and strictly follow the standards of the Journal without any biases.
  2. The peer reviewers must adhere to the code of ethics and not reveal the evaluation results to organizations or others.
  3. The peer reviewers must not use any part of the article for their use without permission from the article owner or the journal.
  4. The peer reviewers must have knowledge, skill, and a clear understanding of the content to be evaluated if the peer reviewers can only accept the evaluation and let the editor know why.
  5. The peer reviewers must inform the editor immediately if the content duplication or the article's content is similar to others’ articles.
  6. The peer reviewers must strictly follow the evaluation format. If there are any suggestions beyond the content evaluated, they can submit them in writing.
  7. The peer reviewers must not have a conflict or mutual interest with the article authors. If found later, the evaluation result can be cancelled, and the editor reserves the right not to send the article to that peer reviewer for evaluation again.
  8. The peer reviewer must evaluate the article within the time frame set by the Journal and send the result to the Journal within 14 days from the day the article is received.


Duties of Authors

  1. Authors must certify that their work has never been published or disseminated elsewhere.
  2. Authors must not pirate the copyright or copy another’s articles or work for their use without permission or citation and must be checked by a reliable plagiarism checker. The tool for help to check plagiarism is the CopyCat program, which limits Thaijo websites to over 25%.
  3. Authors must ensure that their published work is based on genuine research and that the information presented is not falsified.
  4. Authors must adjust or revise their published work to comply with the journal's formatting and referencing style.
  5. Authors must amend their published work according to the recommendations or evaluations from the editorial board's peer reviewers. Please comply with these recommendations to avoid the journal reserving the right not to publish the author's work.
  6. Abstracts, both in Thai and English, for research articles should be distinct from the content of another research works on the same topic.
  7. Authors must specify the funding sources for their articles or academic works (if any).
  8. Authors must consent to the journal holding the copyright for their published articles or works and refrain from reprinting or disseminating them elsewhere.
  9. Authors must diligently revise their articles based on peer reviewers' recommendations. Please comply with these recommendations within the specified timeframe to prevent the journal from reserving the right to reject the author's article for publication. It may not refund any publication fees under any circumstances.
