Integrating Interdisciplinary Workshop Design to Advance Life Skills and Leadership Among Graduate Students at Private Universities in Thailand

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Develop a workshop program to enhance life skills, learning skills, professional skills, and leadership in social, educational, and business contexts within an interdisciplinary framework, focusing on essential skills in education and business contexts; 2) Compare the performance outcomes of participants before and after the workshop in terms of life skills, professional skills, and leadership; 3) Investigate the participants' satisfaction with the workshop activities that focus on comprehensive development in life skills, professional skills, and leadership in social, educational, and business contexts; 4) Examine techniques for selecting appropriate journals for publishing research papers and academic articles both nationally and internationally, and methods for submitting articles to quality journal databases.The sample group consists of 150 workshop participants selected through cluster sampling. The research tools include: 1) A lesson plan using a workshop-based learning method, 2) A test to evaluate learning achievements, and 3) A satisfaction survey. Data analysis was performed using percentages, means, standard deviations, and hypothesis testing, including t-tests and dependent samples t-tests.The findings indicate that: 1) The workshop designed to enhance life skills, professional skills, and leadership within an interdisciplinary framework significantly improved participants' skills, with statistically significant results at the 0.05 level; 2) Participants showed high satisfaction with the activities that focused on developing life skills, professional skills, and leadership within an interdisciplinary context, with overall satisfaction rated at the highest level.
