Abstract

This research aims to 1) study the effectiveness of a training and workshop seminar model designed to enhance life skills, learning skills, professional skills, and leadership in the fields of social sciences, education, and business; 2) develop an effective training model that improves the skills of participants; and 3) assess participants' satisfaction with the seminar. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The research instruments include questionnaires and interviews. The sample group consists of 150 participants, selected using the Taro Yamane formula at an error level of 0.05 through accidental sampling. Data collected from the questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including percentages, means, and standard deviations, while comparing the results using the t-test and the F-test. The qualitative data were analyzed through content analysis, drawing insights from interviews and document reviews.

The results of the research found that 1) the training model significantly improved participants' life skills, learning, and leadership abilities, particularly in writing research articles for publication; 2) the developed seminar model was effective in meeting participants' needs for improving academic writing and professional development; and 3) participants expressed high levels of satisfaction, citing the interactive and hands-on approach as key to their learning. These findings suggest that similar training models can be adopted by educational institutions and organizations to improve skill development across various disciplines.
