GUIDELINES FOR PUBLIC SECTOR MANAGEMENT FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

This article aimed to explore modern approaches to public administration that respond effectively to the rapid changes of the digital era and promote sustainable development. It emphasizes the integration of three major concepts: New Public Management (NPM), Digital Governance, and Good Governance. The study presented strategies that incorporated advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, and Blockchain to improve efficiency, transparency, and citizen participation. It also highlights the role of Smart Cities and E-Government systems in simplifying bureaucratic processes and enhancing service delivery. Moreover, the article addressed critical challenges such as the digital divide, cybersecurity threats, and the adaptability of civil servants. The findings suggested that public administration must balance technological advancement with governance principles to develop effective policies and lead the nation toward long-term security, prosperity, and sustainability.
