INTEGRATING THE PRINCIPLES OF IDDHIPADHAMMA TO DEVELOP THE WORK PERFORMANCE OF PERSONNEL OF THATAKIAP SUB-DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION AT THATAKIAP DISTRICT IN CHASOENGSAO PROVINCE

Abstract

Objectives of this research article were: 1. To study the level of work performance of personnel at Tha Takiap Sub-District Administrative Organization, Tha Takiap District, Chachoengsao Province; 2. To study the relationship between the principles of Iddhibhatta and the development of work performance of personnel at Tha Takiap Sub-District Administrative Organization; and 3. To propose the integration of Iddhibhatta to develop the work performance of personnel at Tha Takiap Sub-District Administrative Organization, conducted by the mixed-methods research methods. The quantitative research, data were collected from 109 personnel of the Tha Takiap Sub-District Administrative Organization. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and correlation coefficients. Th qualitative research involved in-depth interviews with 10 key informants.

The research findings revealed that: 1. The overall level of opinion among personnel regarding the integration of the Iddhipada principles was high ( = 3.95). 2. The overall correlation between the Iddhipada principles and the development of work performance had a strong positive correlation coefficient (r = .901), and 3. The integration of the Iddhipada to develop work performance resulted in personnel, overall, experiencing satisfaction and happiness with assigned tasks, loving their work, performing tasks according to plans and projects while adhering to principles of righteousness, providing service with a friendly demeanor, and thoughtfully using their intellect to find creative solutions to improve service and facilitate convenience for all those receiving services.
