Abstract

The article examines the meaning, importance, and forms of political participation in Thailand” 's democratic system, including the factors that impact and the obstacles that hinder legal participation. It also addresses the rights and duties of citizens to participate correctly. Political participation is crucial in developing a country within a democratic system, particularly among the younger generation, whose role has increased due to their heightened political awareness and changes in the electoral system under the new constitution. These elements will influence the advancement of Thailand” 's democratic system to a level of quality comparable to other nations. Adolescent participation in a democratic system is vital, as they are a key group in driving political change. This is because they often hold new ideas and perspectives that differ from those of previous generations. Adolescents are generally more aware and eager to be involved in political decision-making, seeing participation to change society positively.
