HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT OF LOCAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATIONS ACCORDING TO BUDDHADHAMMA

Abstract

The objective of this academic article was to study the human resource management of local administrative organisations according to Buddhadhamma by examining the approaches of human resource management according to the 6 processes: planning, recruitment and selection, retention, performance evaluation, development and training and termination which integrated with the Saṅgahavattu 4: Dāna; giving, Piyavācā; polite speech, Atthacariyā; helpfulness and Samānattatā; even and equal treatment. When the local administrative organisation applied these principles of Buddhism for integration with human resources management, it would result in personnel who were appropriate for their tasks, had the highest knowledge and abilities, were easy to develop their potential, and were easy to control and result in the organisation could use the full potential of personnel to work for the organisation effectively.
