Manii Phloy Roy Saeng: An Evidence of the Poet's Immense Talent

This research synthesizes the exceptional poetic characteristics found within the collection 'Manii Phloy Roy Saeng', analyzing a corpus of 134 poems through the lens of literary criticism. Regarding prosody, the findings reveal a predominant usage of Chanda, Klon, Khlong, Kaap, Chanson, and Rai, respectively. In terms of thematic content, the poems prominently reflect the perfection of poetic talent, universal love, gratitude, and devotion to the nation, religion, and the monarchy. Furthermore, the literary language is characterized by six key elements: internal and external rhymes, euphony, semantic doublets, reduplication, specialized terminology, and high-level vocabulary. Collectively, these elements illustrate a profound creative process and the masterful evocation of rasa in Thai literature.
