THE WORKSHOP PROJECT EVALUATION ON COMMUNICATING LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM, ACCORDING TO THE HIGHER EDUCATION STANDARDS USING KIRKPATRICK’S EVALUATION MODEL

Abstract

This research aimed to evaluate the reaction and behavior of participants after attending the workshop project on communicating learning outcomes of the Special Education program, according to higher education standards using kirkpatrick’s evaluation model. The population consisted of all 25 freshmen in Special Education. The data collection instruments were a Participant Reaction Assessment Form and a Assessment of Learning Transfer, with reliability coefficients of 0.93 and 0.82, respectively. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics mean and standard deviation.
The results revealed that:
1. Participant Reaction Assessment: Following participant Reaction in the workshop project on communicating learning outcomes of the Special Education program, according to higher education standards, the students expressed the highest level of satisfaction with the project's implementation plan, the activities were relevant to the project objectives, the speaker was knowledgeable about the topic, the overall project implementation was well-prepared, and the venue and facilities were appropriate.
2. Assessment of Learning Transfer: After the workshop, the Special Education students demonstrated the highest level of knowledge and encouraging inspiration, expressing the personality traits of a special education teacher, communicating and working within a growth mindset framework with multi-disciplinary professionals and parents.
