This research aimed to develop and evaluate an electronic book for training menstrual self-care skills using behavioral techniques for caregivers of children with autism spectrum disorder. Nine experts evaluated the e-book using questionnaires and effectiveness assessment forms. Data were analyzed using mean calculation and content analysis.
Results showed high effectiveness with content scoring 4.28 (very effective) and design/usability scoring 4.54 (most effective). Qualitative evaluation confirmed the e-book's suitability for the autism context, effectiveness in promoting self-care skills, and reducing caregiver anxiety. The electronic book is appropriate for training menstrual self-care skills in children with autism and preparing them for adolescence.
