Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to GIJWRC has to undergo a meticulous double-blind peer-review process to guarantee and ensure the quality and credibility of the to-be published manuscript through initial assessment, double-blind reviewers, review steps, decisionmaking of acceptance or rejection, review process and publication. However, the journal office strictly follows publication ethics and international 10-20% plagiarism acceptance.
1. Initial Assessment: the editorial board will initially assess the manuscript aligned with the journal's scope and focus, compliance with publication guidelines and not more than 20% plagiarism otherwise rejected. If passes; the manuscript will be forwarded to reviewers for further assessment.
2. Assign Reviewers: two independent reviewers with scientific expertise and experience in the relevant field of study and its criteria. Impartiality is a must to abide in the double-blind peer review requirements and conflict of interest free. This process would take 2 weeks.
3. Decisionmaking: The final decision for acceptance and or rejection, the need for manuscript revisions will be made by the editor-in-chief based on the decision of the double-blind reviewers. The third reviewer could be invited if necessary. This process would take 2-4 weeks.
4. Revision Process: the authors are granted two weeks (minor revisions) or four weeks (major revisions) to complete the necessary revisions.
5. Publication: Upon acceptance for publication, the authors will be requested to submit a final version of the manuscript, which will undergo copyediting and formatting to prepare it for publication in the GIJWRC journal (Global Interactive Journal of World Religions and Cultures) ensuring that the highest quality research and articles are published.
Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement for Peer Review Process
GIJWRC (Global Interactive Journal of World Religions and Cultures) is deeply committed to upholding the utmost standards of publication ethics and preventing any form of malpractice in publication. The following guidelines dedicate GIJWRC to maintain publication integrity:
1. Confidentiality: Confidentiality obligates editors, reviewers, and any other individuals involved in the process
2. Objectivity and Impartiality: fairness and impartiality are justice which obligates editors and reviewers assess manuscripts based on their scientific merit, relevance, and overall quality, free from personal biases or conflicts of interest with quality feedbacks.
3.Timeliness: GIJWRC prioritizes punctuality and timeframe imposed to editors and reviewers in conducting assessment.
4. Transparency and Accountability: reviewers are encouraged to offer clear, well-reasoned, and constructive feedback.
5. Conflict of Interest: should a conflict of interest arise, necessary measures will be implemented to ensure an unbiased evaluation.
6. Plagiarism and Misconduct: should any suspected misconduct (over 20% plagiarism and misconducts are detected; necessary action would ethically and morally be taken.
7. Peer Reviewer Recognition: GIJWRC deeply appreciates the invaluable contribution of peer reviewers and acknowledges their expertise and commitment while recognizing and crediting reviewers for their significant contributions to the publication process.
