Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explore the sustainable development management of Yao embroidery in innovative fashion design in Longsheng County. The research aim was to (1) analyze and study the ethnic culture of Yao embroidery; (2) Analyze and study the innovative application methods of Yao embroidery in innovative fashion design; (3) Establish a sustainable development management strategy system for Yao embroidery in innovative fashion design, and verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the strategy system. This study adopts a mixed research approach, combining qualitative and quantitative research methods, to comprehensively and deeply explore the sustainable development management issues of Yao embroidery in innovative fashion design. Qualitative research mainly explores the cultural background, artistic characteristics, and potential application of Yao embroidery in innovative fashion design through field investigations, literature analysis, and expert interviews, providing a solid theoretical foundation and rich empirical materials for quantitative research. Quantitative research evaluates the market acceptance of Yao embroidery in innovative fashion design and the effectiveness and feasibility of sustainable development management strategies through methods such as questionnaire surveys and data analysis, providing data support for the optimization and improvement of the strategy system. The research results indicate that Yao embroidery contains profound ethnic cultural connotations, and its unique patterns, colors, and techniques showcase the historical wisdom and artistic creativity of the Yao people. In innovative fashion design, Yao embroidery has successfully achieved the organic combination of traditional and modern aesthetics through pattern innovation, color matching, material fusion, and technique improvement, injecting new vitality into fashion design. At the same time, in order to promote the sustainable development of Yao embroidery in innovative fashion design, we have established a multidimensional management strategy system that includes cultural heritage, technological innovation, market expansion, brand building, supply chain optimization, and environmental protection. The effectiveness and feasibility of this system have been verified through implementation and regular evaluation, providing strong support for the long-term development of Yao embroidery in the field of modern fashion.
