Abstract

Buddhism plays a crucial role in the development of a changing society. Even though society is constantly evolving, the dissemination of Buddhism within this changing context is vital for adaptation and maintaining moral progress. Buddhist principles can guide and resolve social issues across different eras. The "Ten Wholesome Courses of Action" (Kusala Kamma Patha) are particularly suitable for social development as they encompass the development of body, speech, and mind. These principles aim to foster happiness, freedom, and moral integrity in individuals. Improving the quality of life through these teachings helps individuals develop a correct perspective on life and society, ultimately reducing crime, competition, and the lack of compassion and kindness among people.
