Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study Thai tourists’ behavior toward Tai Dam Cultural Village, Khao Kaew Sub-district, Chiang Khan District, Loei. This is a quantitative study. The research tool is a questionnaire used to collect data from 400 tourists traveling the Tai Dam Cultural Village, Khao Kaeo Sub-district, Chiang Khan District, Loei. The statistics used in data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The research results found that most of the respondents were female, aged 20-30 years, married, a bachelor's degree level of education, a career in private business, and a monthly income of 30,000 baht or more. The purposes of tourism were recreation and first-time travel by a private car. The trips typically included 2 - 3 people, took place on weekends, and incurred travel expenses of 1,001 - 3,000 baht. The level of opinions about tourism activities that affect the decision to travel to the Tai Dam Cultural Village was high overall. The opinions on tourism activities that affect the decision to travel to the village, ranked from highest to lowest, are as follows: first is the performance aspect, followed by the arts and culture aspect, and educational learning and play, respectively.
