Abstract

This research employed a research and development (R&D) design with three primary objectives: (1) to evaluate the quality of the developed motion graphic media; (2) to investigate the effectiveness of using motion graphic media, accessed via QR code technology, in enhancing students’ understanding of the student identification card issuance process at Ramkhamhaeng University; and (3) to assess student satisfaction with the motion graphic media. The sample comprised 400 undergraduate students enrolled at Ramkhamhaeng University. The research instruments included: (1) the motion graphic media, (2) a media quality evaluation form, (3) a perception assessment form regarding the student ID card process, and (4) a satisfaction questionnaire pertaining to the media. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics including mean and standard deviation, along with the Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) for content validity analysis. The results indicated that: (1) the motion graphic media was rated as highly effective by both content experts and media design specialists; (2) students demonstrated a high level of understanding of the student ID issuance process after engaging with the media via QR code; and (3) overall student satisfaction with the motion graphic media was reported at a high level. These findings support the effectiveness of motion graphic media as a digital tool for
enhancing communication and improving procedural understanding among university students.
