Studying and Analyzing Transliterated Writing Problems Appeared in Vogue Thailand

Abstract
This research aimed to (1) study the words and meanings of transliteration, and (2) analyze the problem of transliteration that appears in magazines Vogue Thailand No. 6-12 from July – December 2021, 51 words. The data were used to analyze the characteristics of English transliteration in accordance with the Royal Society's guidelines on the specified issues.
The results showed that (1) studies of words and the meanings of transliterated words appeared in magazines Vogue Thailand Issue 6-12, 2021, was commonly found in the magazine's content. (2) transliterated writing problems that appear in magazines Vogue Thailand Issue 6-12, 2021, was found a total of 1,473 transliterations (including repeat words). The most common transliteration is the word style, with a frequency of 65 times, and 20 transliteration problems have been encountered, including tonal deformation, orthographic deformation, vowels deformation, and consonant deformation problems.
