Developing English Listening Skills of Mathayomsuksa 4 Students Using Multimedia in Cooperative Learning

Abstract
The research aimed to: 1) assess the English listening skills of Mathayomsuksa 4 students using multimedia in cooperative learning; 2) compare the English listening skills before and after using multimedia in cooperative learning; and 3) explore students' satisfaction with the use of multimedia in cooperative learning. The sample consisted of 22 Mathayomsuksa 4 students studying in the second semester of the 2020 academic year at a school in Ban Pong District, Ratchaburi Province, selected through simple random sampling. The instruments were: 1) lesson plans incorporating multimedia in cooperative learning; 2) an English listening test; and 3) a questionnaire to collect data on students' satisfaction with the use of multimedia in cooperative learning. The results revealed that: 1) students' learning outcomes improved, with an average score of 7.36; 2) the comparative study indicated that listening learning outcomes were significantly higher after using multimedia in cooperative learning, with a significance level of 0.05; and 3) students' satisfaction with the use of multimedia in cooperative learning was high.
