Journal Policy and Scope (Journal Focus & Scope):

Journal of Digital Education and Learning Engineering (JDELE) is the official primary academic journal published on behalf of the Digital Education and Learning Engineering Association. This journal serves as a platform for exchanging knowledge in research and development in education and related interdisciplinary fields. It is intended for educators, researchers, developers, and practitioners. The journal publishes academic works related to education and information that aim to enhance and improve educational quality through a selection and evaluation process that adheres to international academic journal standards.

Manuscript Categories:

JDELE accepts a variety of academic works for publication, including:

1. Editorial:

Description: These are perspectives or comments presented by the chief editor, primary editor, guest editors for special issues, or invited scholars and researchers aimed at providing valuable insights for knowledge exchange within the research community.

2. Commentary:

Description: These are discussions on educational issues or teaching practices of interest to the author based on personal opinions that are beneficial for sharing viewpoints.

3. Communication:

Description: These articles update new findings or expand on topics previously published in research articles, technical articles, or review articles, emphasizing updates that are interesting, academically beneficial, and highlight new perspectives.

4. Letter:

Description: Short articles that allow readers to present professional academic responses or comments to a published article, fostering academic progress. Authors of the original articles may also write letters to respond to the comments.

5. Review Article:

Description: These evaluate the state of specialized academic fields, analyzing and synthesizing knowledge from previously published literature or research and offering critiques highlighting future research trends and directions.

6. Research Article:

Description: These are specific reports of research studies on education or teaching in various subjects, groups, educational levels, or interconnected fields.

7. Technical Article:

Description: This category includes several types of writing:
7.1) Descriptions or explanations of new or innovative educational management concepts or methods.
7.2) Demonstrate excellent teaching or learning practices for specific content or concepts.
7.3) Descriptions of learning experiences from educational activities, highlighting their value for further application.
7.4) Demonstrations and explanations of academic electronic or digital media, such as websites, specialized software, multimedia, applications, or technologies that promote education, teaching, or learning processes.

Manuscript Language:
JDELE accepts manuscripts in both "Thai" and "English."

Peer Review Process:
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the journal's primary editor to ensure alignment with the journal's policy and scope and meet the basic academic quality standards. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least three internal and external experts for a double-blind review.

Publication Frequency:
JDELE publishes quarterly, four issues per year:

Issue 1 (January – March)
Issue 2 (April – June)
Issue 3 (July – September)
Issue 4 (October – December)

Open Access Policy:
JDELE aims to publish academic works in an open-access format, allowing unrestricted access and use to benefit everyone, thus fostering a more open academic community.
