Study of Human Resource Management Affecting the Quality of Working Life of Personnel in the College of Social Communication Innovation at Srinakharinwirot University

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to study Human resource management affecting the quality of working life of personnel in the College of Social Communication Innovation at Srinakharinwirot University, to develop human resource management of human resource department in the College of Social Communication Innovation at Srinakharinwirot University, and to enhance the quality of working life of personnel in the College of Social Communication Innovation at Srinakharinwirot University. The researcher used a questionnaire as a research tool by collecting from a sample group which are personnel and professors in the College of Social Communication Innovation at Srinakharinwirot University 69 people. Statistics used in the study were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression.       The research findings revealed that overall human resource management was at the highest level, particularly in the areas of recruitment, selection, and training and development. Meanwhile, the overall quality of work life was at a high level, with personal development capabilities and social relationships showing the highest mean scores. The multiple regression analysis found that selection, performance evaluation, and compensation and benefits significantly affected quality of work life at the .05 and .01 statistical significance levels, respectively. However, recruitment and training and development showed no significant effects.
