The style of Apichart Chandaeng in poetry on Our Country and Various of Narratives

Abstract

This research article aims to examine the style of Apichart Chandaeng in poetry on Our country and many [other] tales, totally 37 tales. The results descriptively reveal two issues that the poet applies to compose the style. The first relates to the issues is the strategies of content presentation, and the second issue is the language strategies.

The finding indicated that the Apichart Chandaeng’s style were two issues: 1. The strategies of content presentation. The poet applied the significant strategies to denominate the tales by applying text that mentioned to the place such as On the Pavement. In addition, the poet also applied the several stories to denominate the title, for instance, The Children in The Bakery; furthermore, to convey the essential events for denominating the title name. The exposition emphasized the posing questions and persuading to the readers by identifying and presenting reminiscence. The rising action emphasized the philosophies and characters. The poetry had remained an interested climax by concluding the events corresponding to the title, ending with a quote for persuading the readers, and leaving the complicating question. The end of the tales required the memorable texts as demonstrated “sick of watching” to the reader for deeply perceiving besides a square screen, called television. 2. The language strategies indicated that mood and tone related a sound rhyme. Moreover, there was selecting a reduplicate for events and characters appropriately, consuming imagery words for, and choosing the figure of speech for obvious comprehension of the poet. Lastly, there were finding symbols to evoke recent interpretations.
