Publication Ethics

Duties of Editors

  1. Editors are responsible for evaluating the quality of articles for publication in the journal.
  2. Editors must make publication decisions after the article review process, considering primarily academic merit based on importance, novelty, clarity, and relevance to the journal's scope. They must maintain impartiality towards authors and articles under consideration in all circumstances.
  3. Editors must not disclose information about authors and reviewers to unauthorized persons during the evaluation period and publication of that journal issue.
  4. Editors must have no conflicts of interest with authors and reviewers.
  5. Editors must check for duplication and plagiarism in articles published in the journal to prevent copying of others' work.
  6. Editors must have a system for correcting serious errors in articles and retracting articles found to violate research ethics. They must not ignore or disregard errors and research misconduct related to articles published in the journal.

Duties of Reviewers

  1. If reviewers recognize potential conflicts of interest with authors after receiving articles from journal editors (such as being project collaborators, having personal relationships with authors, or other reasons that prevent providing independent comments and suggestions), reviewers should inform the journal editor and decline to review those articles.
  2. Reviewers must not disclose any part or all of the submitted articles under review, including author information, to unauthorized persons throughout the review period.
  3. Reviewers should evaluate articles within their area of expertise, considering the content's importance to the field based on academic reasoning, novelty, clarity, quality, and depth of work. They should not use unsupported personal opinions as criteria for judging research articles.
  4. Reviewers must identify important relevant research works not cited by the authors in their evaluation to enhance the article's academic value.
  5. If reviewers find any part of the article similar to or duplicating others' work, they must inform the journal editor.

Duties of Authors

  1. Authors must certify that submitted work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication in other journals or academic publications.
  2. Authors must format their articles according to the "Author Guidelines."
  3. Submitted work must have academic value, resulting from the author's direct involvement in experiments, creation, synthesis, or direct participation, or present new feasible ideas or principles with sufficient theoretical support and research value.
  4. Authors must report research findings truthfully, without distorting data or providing false information.
  5. Submitted work must not plagiarize, copy, or excerpt from others' research work.
  6. Authors must cite others' work used and include references at the end of the article.
  7. Co-authors listed in the article must have actually participated in writing the article.
  8. Authors must declare any conflicts of interest (if any).
