Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aimed to examine (1) the components of creative leadership of school administrators, (2) the levels of creative leadership of administrators and the effectiveness of secondary schools, (3) the relationship between administrators’ creative leadership and school effectiveness, (4) the predictive power of creative leadership on school effectiveness, and (5) the approaches for enhancing creative leadership of administrators to improve school effectiveness. The sample consisted of 350 administrators and teachers selected through disproportionate stratified random sampling. The findings revealed that (1) administrators’ creative leadership comprised four components—flexibility, vision, creativity, and imagination—which were considered appropriate, (2) both creative leadership and school effectiveness were rated at a high level, (3) creative leadership of administrators was
positively correlated with school effectiveness, (4) flexibility and creativity were the strongest predictors, jointly explaining 69.10% of school effectiveness, and (5) the proposed approaches for developing administrators’ creative leadership to enhance school effectiveness should primarily focus on strengthening flexibility and creativity.
