Ethics and Leadership of Educational Administrators in the 21st Century

The academic article titled “Ethics and Leadership of Educational Administrators in the 21st Century” aims to explain the meanings, significance, components, skills, and development guidelines for ethics and leadership of educational administrators in the 21st century. The study found that ethics serve as the foundation of effective leadership, while ethical leadership acts as a vital mechanism for driving educational institutions toward quality, transparency, and accountability. Administrators who possess ethical and moral leadership are capable of inspiring personnel, fostering a culture of integrity, and sustainably enhancing the quality of learners and educational staff.
The new body of knowledge synthesized from this study consists of seven key dimensions: (1) Ethical Leadership, (2) Transformational Leadership, (3) Moral Leadership, (4) Good Governance, (5) Educational Management Effectiveness, (6) Quality of Learners and Personnel, and (7) Digital and Innovation Context. The findings highlight that leadership in the 21st century requires an integration of ethics, morality, and technology in a balanced manner to create “Digital Ethical Leadership.” This integrative approach positions ethics as the core of educational administration, guiding organizations toward excellence, sustainability, and human-centered value creation.
