Abstract

The research aims to study of semantics interpretation in Woon Plae Pasa Fanpage. Started by exploring and collecting vocabulary information from the Woon Plae Pasa Fanpage on Facebook. Since October 2nd, 2020 to October 27th, 2020. Usingsemantics in the study of texts. The texts used to study are words from Woon Plae Pasa Fanpage.

The results of the study of semantics interpretation in Woon Plae Pasa Fanpage of 15 words can be summarized 1) Figurative meaning of 4 words 2) Social meaning of 3 words 3) Expressive meaning of 3 words 4) Reference of 2 words. It appears to be the most Expressive meaning. The Expressive meaning is a meaning that does not convey a straight meaning. There was also an expression of emotion. Expressing emotion is often colloquialism which evident the meaning of Woon Plae Pasa Fanpage.
