Abstract

This academic article aims to synthesize the components and procedures of the Integrated Digital Learning Management Model (IDESCR Model) to enhance creative thinking among vocational education students. The study employed document analysis and synthesis of relevant literature, concepts, theories, and research published during 2000–2025 from academic databases. The synthesis covered concepts related to digital integration, challenge-based learning, brain-based learning, creative problem solving, and creative thinking. The findings revealed that the IDESCR Model consists of six stages: (1) Ignition, (2) Define, (3) Explore, (4) Solution Design, (5) Creation, and (6) Reflection. The model emphasizes a learner-centered learning process that promotes analytical thinking, collaboration, and hands-on practices through the integration of digital technologies throughout all stages of learning. Furthermore, the findings indicated that the model effectively promotes four dimensions of creative thinking, namely originality, fluency, flexibility, and elaboration. In addition, the model contributes to the development of essential twenty-first century skills, including problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and the appropriate use of digital technologies. Therefore, the IDESCR Model can be effectively applied to vocational education learning management in order to enhance students’ creative   thinking and innovation skills.
