Announcement of Article Publication Fee Policy

The Journal of Graduate School of Management Studies of Sripatum University Khon Kaen Campus, hereby announces its policy regarding the collection of article publication fees to ensure that authors and relevant parties are informed in advance in a clear, transparent, and fair manner.

Previously, the Journal did not charge authors any fees for article submission, peer review, manuscript revision, or article publication.

In order to support the effective and continuous management of the Journal, quality assessment of submitted manuscripts, editorial operations, and the dissemination of published articles, the Journal has established an article publication fee policy with the following details:

1. Effective Date

The Journal will begin collecting article publication fees from August 16, 2027 (B.E. 2570) onwards. This policy applies to articles submitted to the Journal's online submission system on or after the effective date.

Articles submitted to the Journal's online submission system before August 16, 2027, will remain subject to the previous fee policy, and no fees will be charged retroactively.

2. Publication Fee Rates

The publication fee covers the costs associated with article administration, peer review, manuscript checking and preparation, and electronic online publication.

3. Criteria for the Collection of Publication Fees

The collection of publication fees shall be determined based on the date on which the author submits the article to the Journal's online submission system. Articles submitted on or after August 16, 2027, will be subject to the criteria and fee rates specified in this announcement.

All submitted articles must first undergo a preliminary screening by the Editorial Board. Once an article has passed the preliminary screening, the Journal will notify the author to proceed with payment of the publication fee in accordance with the prescribed procedures.

Payment of the publication fee constitutes part of the Journal's article management process and does not guarantee acceptance or publication of the article. All articles are still required to undergo peer review and consideration by the Editorial Board in accordance with the Journal's established criteria.

For articles submitted to the Journal's online submission system before August 16, 2027, the Journal will follow the previous fee policy, and no publication fee will be charged retroactively.

4. Payment Date and Procedure

Authors are not required to pay the publication fee at the time of article submission. The Journal will first conduct a preliminary screening of the submitted article, including verification of document completeness, alignment of the content with the Journal's scope, article format and references, similarity checking with a similarity index of no more than 15% in accordance with the Journal's criteria, and the overall preliminary completeness of the manuscript.

Once the article has passed the preliminary screening by the Editorial Board, the Journal will notify the author through the Journal's online submission system or an official communication channel to proceed with payment of the publication fee.

Authors must pay the publication fee within 15 days from the date of notification. If payment is not made within the specified period, the Journal reserves the right to discontinue the review process and remove the article from the submission system.

5. Payment Channel

Authors may pay the publication fee only through the University's official bank account, as follows:

After making the payment, authors must submit the payment slip through the Journal's online submission system or the communication channel designated by the Editorial Board. The Journal will verify the payment and issue an official receipt in accordance with the University's regulations.

The Journal does not have a policy allowing authors to make publication fee payments to any personal bank account belonging to the Editor, Editorial Board members, reviewers, or any staff involved in the Journal's operations under any circumstances.

6. Important Conditions

Payment of the publication fee constitutes part of the Journal's article management and publication process and does not imply automatic acceptance or publication of the article. All articles must still undergo review and quality assessment by qualified peer reviewers, as well as consideration by the Editorial Board in accordance with the Journal's established criteria.

Once the author has made the publication fee payment, the Journal reserves the right not to refund the fee under any circumstances.

The Journal sincerely thanks all authors and relevant parties for their understanding and cooperation in complying with this policy.
