Duties of Reviewers
Duties of Reviewers
1. Should reviewers realize that they are in conflict of interest with authors, such as participation in a project or personal acquaintance or any other reason that might compromise their ability to provide unbiased or objective feedback and hinder their ability to review freely, they should notify the editors and decline to evaluate the paper.
2. Reviewers should provide recommendations based on academic principles. Personal opinions without academic evidence to support the criteria for assessing the article should not be employed. If reviewers identify any form of duplication or overlap with other articles or sources within the manuscript, they should promptly inform the editors.
3. Reviewers must protect confidentiality and refrain from disclosing any information regarding the paper submitted for consideration to uninvolved parties during the evaluation process.
